The cover plies are formed from a main thread system and a further thread system, forming courses that follow one another in the production direction. According to the invention, a first course is formed at least by the main thread system, and a second courses is formed by the further thread system. The thread or threads of the main thread system is/are guided without forming stitches, in the production direction, in the second course, and the cover plies have a lower tear strength there, when pulled in the production direction.
