    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such the problem that paper enters a space between an upper guide and a paper width direction regulation guide and causes paper folding, without causing a hindrance to opening/closing operation of a printer cover.SOLUTION: Energization members 30 having elasticity are provided to each of left and right side faces of an upper guide 21, and to the biasing member 30, a protrusion structure 31 is provided, which protrudes toward side face guides 23 provided at both ends of a paper conveying path in the paper width direction. Outer width of the upper guide 21 including the protrusion structure 31 of the energization member 30 is made wider than the inner width W of the side face guides 23 at both ends, so that the upper guide 21 is always positioned at a substantially center of the inner width W of the side face guides 23 by the effect of the energization member 30 when the printer cover 15 is closed. Thus, the upper guide 21 is prevented from being biased toward one side in the paper width direction in the inner width W of the side face guides 23 and thus, occurrence of a large gap at the other side of the upper guide 21 in the paper width direction can be prevented.
