    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball with less uneven thickness relating to the improvement of a golf ball manufacturing method, especially an injection molding method. SOLUTION: A core composed of cross-linked rubber is immersed in liquid nitrogen, the time of immersion is one minute or longer, and the core is cooled to -50°C or below (STEP 3). The core is hardened by cooling and the core taken out from the liquid nitrogen is immediately fed to a molding die (STEP 6). In the meantime, from an injection molding apparatus, a fused resin composition is injected (STEP 9). The resin composition is filled between the core and a cavity surface. Since the core is hard, it is not deformed even when the resin composition flows into a cavity. The resin composition is solidified and a cover is formed.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which has an excellent repulsive performance and an excellent flying performance without spoiling durability and the appearance. SOLUTION: This golf ball comprises a core (4) comprising a center (1) and an intermediate layer (2) which is formed on the center, and a cover (3) which is formed on the core. The intermediate layer (2) is constituted of at least two layers including an outermost layer (6) and a second layer (5) which is adjacent to the internal side of the outermost layer. Also, a large number of dimples are formed on the surface of the cover. In the golf ball, the second layer (5) of the intermediate layer is formed of a thermoplastic resin, and has a thickness of 0.5 to 2.0 mm. The outermost layer (6) of the intermediate layer is formed of a thermosetting resin or a thermoplastic resin, and has a thickness of 1 to 100 μm. The intermediate layer has recess sections corresponding to the dimples on the surface.
