摘要： An operator sets a distance from the page head of an alignment mark using a mark position setting switch mounted in a duplex printing system. A first printer forms the alignment mark in a position of the distance from the page head of a web, and reports position information about the alignment mark to a second printer. The alignment mark is detected by mark detection means of the second printer. Control means performs control of a web transport speed so that a phase between generation timing of a mark detection signal which the mark detection means generates by detecting the alignment mark and control timing calculated from alignment mark position data, alignment mark interval data and a web feed control signal generated at a preset period becomes constant.

摘要： An operator sets a distance from the page head of an alignment mark using a mark position setting switch mounted in a duplex printing system. 摘要： Disclosed are a sheet conveying device and an ink jet recording apparatus capable of conveying a sheet in close contact with a drum without wrinkles. In a sheet conveying mechanism which presses a pressing roller against the front surface of a sheet being conveyed by a conveying drum to bring the sheet into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the conveying drum, a back tension application device is provided at a position immediately before the sheet enters between the conveying drum and the pressing roller. The back tension application device sucks the front surface of the sheet to apply back tension to the sheet. Therefore, it is possible to prevent slackness of the sheet which enters between the pressing roller and the conveying drum and to prevent the occurrence of wrinkles.

摘要： Methods are disclosed for manufacturing piezoelectric vibrating pieces and devices including such pieces. According to an embodiment of the method, a piezoelectric vibrating piece is produced from a piezoelectric wafer. To form the piece, a profile of the piezoelectric vibrating piece is formed in a piezoelectric wafer. A first metal film (chromium; Cr) is formed on the surface of the piezoelectric piece. The chromium film is surface-oxidized to form a film having Cr foundation layer and an oxidized surface. A second metal film (gold; Au) is formed on the oxidized surface. Then, in selected regions not destined to become electrodes, the second metal film is removed, leaving electrode patterns at designated regions of the piezoelectric vibrating piece.
