    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data recording and playing configuration capable of decoding corresponding to an encoding system by way of acquiring attribute information that is recorded differently according to the encoding system of three-dimensional image.SOLUTION: An encoding system of three-dimensional image of data to be recorded in a recording medium is determined and attribute information to be recorded in a management information file is changed according to the determined encoding system, so that attribute information unique to each encoding system is recorded in the management information file. For example in case of a frame sequential system, a frame identification data is recorded as attribute information to indicate whether each frame composing a three-dimensional image is a left-eye image (L image) or a right-eye image (R image). A playing device can perform decoding processing correctly corresponding to each encoding system due to acquiring information unique to the encoding system from the attribute information.
