    • A bracket for mounting one or more paint rollers to the shaft of a paint roller frame. A mounting plate carries a pair of roller engaging members extending normal to the mounting plate on opposite ends thereof, each roller engaging member being formed to rollingly engage an end of a paint roller. A shaft engaging member is located between the pair of roller engaging members and has a shaft opening formed there through of a dimension, and arranged, to pivotally receive the shaft of a paint roller frame. In one embodiment, one or more mini-rollers, with internal roller bearings, are carried on shafts integral with and extending from opposing mounting brackets. In other embodiments, two or three standard paint rollers are carried on members that extend from opposing mounting brackets and are rotatable thereon. In further embodiments, a first roller is formed with a surface material that has sufficient nap or a sufficiently low density or porosity to carry an amount of paint sufficient to cover a desired area of surface to be painted, and a second roller is formed with a surface material of a sufficiently high density to provide a smooth finish to said surface area.

    • A novel paint roller “cage” having improved tracking and ease of use is adapted for receiving different length axle shafts of various sizes of paint roller frames. An outer tubular support, upon which a paint roller cover or other paint absorbing material may be mounted, contains a pair of support bearings secured at either end of an inner tubular chassis, with one support bearing at a first end of the outer tubular support, and the other support bearing at approximately its mid point. The two support bearings are connected by an inner tubular chassis, which both maintains the two bearings at a desired axial spacing and also holds the walls and radial bearing surfaces of a bushing chamber that is integrally molded with each support bearing in proper position about a tubular bushing that is adapted to be frictionally secured to the axle shaft. In one embodiment, the outer tubular support has a diameter of about 1″ and a length of about 9″, and can be used with both 6.5″ and 9″ roller frames. The nominal axial clearance between the tubular bushing and the adjacent radial bearing surfaces of the bushing chamber is less than about 0.005″.

    • A memory circuit for reading and writing data into a SRAM memory array using charge recycling is presented. The write and read circuit includes a cell voltage level switch, a recycle charge storage, a precharge switch, a write enable switch, and column decoder. The cell voltage level switch is connected to a low power supply and a high power supply and has two states of operation: a write operation state and a read operation state. For each state of operation, the voltage level switch selectively provides a power supply if a column has been selected or if the operation is a read or write. The recycle charge storage stores excess charge from SRAM cells after a read operation or after a write operation in unselected columns. After the read or write operation, the recycle charge storage discharges excess charge to the bitlines during bitline precharging.

    • Dynamic power consumption is reduced by clock gating registers that synchronize memory input signals in an embedded memory array. Where a memory enable signal associated with a memory interface input signal does not meet setup timing for clock gating input registers of the memory interface signal, a clock gate enable signal may be generated prior to evaluation of the memory enable signal. The clock gate enable signal includes all functions of the memory enable signal and additional conditions because it is generated prior to evaluation of conditions on which the memory enable signal may depend. Pre-evaluated clock gate enable signals may be generated within a processor core and used to clock gate read address registers, write address registers, data input registers, and/or CAM reference address registers of an embedded memory array.

The near-field microscope includes a wave source, a dielectric resonator, a probe, a distance adjusting unit, and a detector. The wave source generates a wave, and a frequency of the wave is adjustable by the wave source. The dielectric resonator propagates the wave from the wave source, and a resonance frequency, impedance, a Q factor and an electromagnetic wave mode of the wave is freely adjustable. The probe scans the wave output from the dielectric resonator on a sample. The distance adjusting unit measures a distance between the probe and the sample and maintains the distance to a predetermined value. The detector detects a wave that propagates through the probe, interacts with the sample and then propagates through the probe and the dielectric resonator.
