摘要： This invention relates to a fastener assembly (10) for an accessible file. The fastener assembly (10) includes a fastener base plate (12) having an upper face (14) and a lower face (16), with at least one prong (20) extending from the upper face (14). The assembly (10) also includes a compressor bar (22) having at least one hole (24) therethrough, with each prong (20) extending through a corresponding hole (24) and capable of being retained in a fastened position, and a securing means (18) for securing the fastener base plate (12) to a file cover. The securing means (18) is such that thefastener base plate (12) can be secured to the file cover in an assembled configuration together with the compressor bar (22). The invention extends to a transfer mechanism component which, together with the fastener assembly (10), forms a fastener arrangement for an accessible file. The invention yet further extends to an accessible file including the transfer arrangement, to a method of manufacturing the accessible file, and to an apparatus therefor.
