    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a control system for power safe operations that selectively control the power supply to an electrical equipment. According to the present invention, motion sensor and/or human touch/presence sensor data indicative respectively of motion or safe-use of an electrical equipment may be received and processed. In addition, orientation/tilt sensor data indicative of current orientation/tilt of an electrical equipment may be received and processed. A determination may be made by comparing the current orientation against a threshold. A further determination may be made by comparing processed motion or human touch/presence sensor data to a threshold. Based on the determination, electrical supply to an electrical equipment may be suspended preferably after a warning. Warning can preferably be in the form of a flashing light or an audible sound and communicated to a user handheld device.

    • The present invention proposes methodologies, a system and a secure spontaneous collaboration framework along with a suitable application and services suite for enabling new paradigm of social networking among users of handheld devices by bridging gab between infra-structure-based networks and mobile ad hoc networks. While supporting three different operating modes for the spontaneous collaboration that suits the user preference and network conditions, the proposed solutions hide the complexity of finding the right peer/device for spontaneous collaboration, self-organizing the network to be formed on-demand, mitigating the security threat, being aware of user mobility for service continuity across wide variety of networks. Binding a given user to user's handheld device and specifying the number of applications/services enabling spontaneous collaborations that a given user is interested in are possible through user-profile creations. By taking a holistic view, the proposed solutions enable very practical, scalable, secure and economical spontaneous collaborations.

Therefore, it should now be possible to communicate with total strangers securely without having to worry about privacies. This invention thus relates to a method/system/framework enabling an online directory creation for the purpose of anonymous communication/interaction among total strangers seamlessly and securely using one or plurality of communication modes/media/mechanism without compromising the privacies of the communication parties involved and without them having to know the exact contact details of each other. Also, modern communication technologies enable any social entity to have a numerous forms of contacts. A conventional business card cannot hold this growing number of contact details. The online directory allows any user to maintain a very dynamic virtual business card that can allow an owner to include/exclude different contact details dynamically at his/her discretion depending on the type of recipient(s).
