    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality image forming apparatus free from printing deviation without using a feed roller with projections.SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, a print media M unrolled from a feeding roll 12 is conveyed along a transportation line by a motor 11 which is a drive means and sent for printing together with an ink ribbon IR to a printer which is set between a platen roller 1 and a print head 2 which is elastically brought into contact with the platen roller 1 to thereby form an image on the print media M. The outer circumferential surface of the platen roller 1 is constituted by a friction material. There is provided a pressure contact roller 8 which is an adhesion means for adhering the print media M to the platen roller 1 over a predetermined range. Furthermore, the motor 11 which is the drive means is connected to the platen roller 1. A conveying force to the print media M is generated between the platen roller 1 and the print media M through the motor 11.
