摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precise optical grating rotation sensor that is easily attached and is not so relatively sensitive to eccentricity of a rotation part and spurious moving or vibration of this rotation part to another part.
SOLUTION: This rotation sensor includes a light source 10, a light detector 9, an internal member 1 having a first lateral surface 4, which is globally cylindrical and convex, and an external member 7 having a second lateral surface 6 which is globally cylindrical and concave. The first and second lateral surfaces both have a same central axis defining a rotation axis A for a relative rotation between the internal member and the external member the angle of which this rotation sensor measures. This rotation sensor includes at least one first gratings 3, 31 and 32 arranged at the first lateral surface with its grating lines parallel to the rotation axis, and at least one second grating 5 arranged at the second lateral surface with its grating lines parallel to the rotation axis.
