摘要： Heat resistant carbonate- and/or hydrogencarbonate-iron-Lf complexes in which one molecule of lactoferrin is bound with 15 molecules or over of iron via carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid.Process for the production of above mentioned complexes prepared by adjusting pH.ltoreq.7 by adding alkali salts of carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid to an aqueous solution containing an iron salt exhibiting pH.ltoreq.4 when dissolved in water and lactoferrins, or adding an iron salt and lactoferrin solution to carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid solution, or adding the iron salt or its solution to a solution containing carbonic acid and/or hydrogencarbonic acid and lactoferrins.The resultant lactoferrin complexes are highly heat resistant and useful as raw materials of foods, medicines, feeds, cosmetics and so forth.

摘要： An ink set for ink-jet recording includes a first ink which contains glycerol and a first coloring agent, and a second ink which contains a water-soluble organic solvent incompatible with glycerol and a second coloring agent and which does not contain glycerol. The first ink and the second ink are mixed with each other at a low speed. Therefore, the inks permeate into the paper before the inks are mixed with each other. Thus, it is possible to avoid the color bleeding.

A photocomposition comprising the base material, the photopolymerization initiator and both the photochemical and spectral sensitizers may also be used to obtain the photocuring characteristics.

摘要： An ink-jet water-based ink set comprises a black ink and a yellow ink. The black ink contains a black dye, barium hydroxide, and purified water. The yellow ink contains a yellow dye, ammonium chloride, and purified water. When these inks are used to produce liquid drops and to record images on a recording medium with the aid of an on-demand recording head, the barium hydroxide and ammonium chloride initiate an endothermic reaction, whereby color intermixing is reduced, and adequate spraying stability is obtained.

摘要： A water base ink for ink-jet recording comprises water, a coloring agent, a water-soluble organic solvent, and a benzotriazole-based metal-inactivating agent and alkanolamine. When the ink is used in an ink-jet recording apparatus which has the metal member containing nickel or nickel alloy in an ink supply passage, nickel is eluted from the metal member in an amount of not more than 50 ppm. The ink makes it possible to perform stable jetting operation for a long term without causing any deterioration of metal members of a discharge head due to the metallic corrosion and the elution of nickel into the ink.
