    • A liquid filled vibration isolating mount has a rigid tubular fitting defining an interior fitting cavity, an upper opening and a lower opening. A vibration isolating base body formed of elastic material is fitted in the upper opening of the rigid tubular fitting. A diaphragm seals the lower opening of the rigid tubular fitting and a partition is disposed in the interior fitting cavity of the rigid tubular fitting between the vibration isolating base body and the diaphragm to divide the interior fitting cavity into a first liquid chamber and a second liquid chamber. The first liquid chamber has a first liquid chamber wall formed at least in part by the vibration isolating base body, the partition and the rigid tubular fitting. The second liquid chamber has a second liquid chamber wall formed at least in part by the diaphragm and the partition. The partition defines an orifice communicating the first and the second liquid chambers with each other. The rigid tubular fitting forms at least a portion of a side wall of the first liquid chamber wall and defines at least one opening in the side wall. An elastic membrane cup covers each of the at least one side wall opening and has a convex surface projecting into the first liquid chamber and a concave surface defining an air chamber separated from the first liquid chamber by the elastic membrane cup and extending into the interior fitting cavity. The air chamber may be sealed or open to the atmosphere.

    • A liquid filled vibration isolating mount has upper and lower metal fittings for fixing the vibration isolating mount to a supporting body and a supported body. A rubber vibration isolating body has a tubular shape defining a central cavity and has upper and lower ends defining an upper face and a bottom face which are respectively fixed to the upper and lower metal fittings. The upper metal fitting defines an aperture communicating with the central cavity and a partition member is connected to the upper metal fitting occluding the aperture. A diaphragm is attached to the upper metal fitting covering at least a portion of the partition member. The central cavity of the vibration isolating base body and the partition member define a first liquid chamber wherein the vibration isolating base body constitutes a portion of a chamber wall. The diaphragm and the partition member define a second liquid chamber. The second liquid chamber is partitioned from the first liquid chamber by the partition member and the partition member defines an orifice communicating the first liquid chamber with the second liquid chamber. A rubber elastic membrane is connected to the lower metal fitting and forms a portion of the chamber wall of the first liquid chamber. The rubber elastic membrane has an inversed cup shape projected from the bottom face of the vibration isolating base body into the first liquid chamber and the inversed cup shape forms an air chamber within itself.

    • The present invention provides a method for film formation, which comprises applying onto a substrate an electrocoating (A) and an intermediate coating (B) in this order, heat-curing the formed films of the coatings (A) and (B), applying thereon a liquid light color coating (C), the liquid light color coating (C) forming a color film having an L value of 30-95 in the Lab color system, which comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin composition, 0.1-30 parts by weight of a fine aluminum powder having an average particle diameter of less than 10.mu. and 1-200 parts by weight of a titanium oxide pigment and which shows a film hiding power of 25.mu. or less and a film elongation ratio of 10-50% at 20.degree. C., a liquid metallic coating (D) which comprises 100 parts by weight of a thermosetting resin composition and 0.1-20 parts by weight of a metallic pigment having an average particle diameter of 3.mu. or more and which shows a film hiding power of 50.mu. or more and a film elongation ratio of 10% or less at 20.degree. C., and a clear coating (E) in this order on a wet-on-wet basis, and heating the formed films of the coatings (C), (D) and (E) to crosslink and cure the three films simultaneously. According to the method, part of the heat-curing steps employed in multilayer film formation can be eliminated and a multilayer film of smaller thickness and improved properties (e.g. improved surface smoothness and chipping resistance) can be obtained.
