摘要： A edged tool with a protective cover is provided, in which there is no necessity for mounting a member for locking a protective cover on a handle main body as a separate member, the protective cover for protecting a blade body can be easily manipulated by one hand and also the blade body can be retained in an exposing state and in a covering state. A surgical scalpel as the protective cover-equipped edged tool is provided with a grip portion formed so as to hold the handle main body by one hand and a supporting portion integrally coupled to the grip portion to support the protective cover so as to slide freely on the outer periphery. A projection is formed on the outer periphery of the supporting portion. A pair of locking portions with which the projection makes an elastic engagement when the protective cover is placed selectively at the covering position or at the exposing position are mounted on the protective cover.

摘要： An optical audio disc comprises the first pack (A Pack), the second pack (A-CONT Pack), the third pack (V Pack), and the fourth pack (CONT Pack) in which the A-CONT Pack is placed at the head of a data array and a plurality of the A and V Packs follow the A-CONT Pack in each audio contents block unit (ACBU). Information contained in an A-CONT Pack manages audio data contained in the A Pack. The A Pack contains audio data and the V Pack contains other data than the audio data such as closed caption (CC) data as well as video data. A reproduction apparatus for an optical audio disc (DVD-Audio disc) comprises the CONT Pack detector section 1103, the A-CONT Pack detector section 1109, the parameter sections 1108 and 1114, the V Pack buffer section 1104, and the A Pack buffer section 1110. The CONT Pack detector section 1103 and the A-CONT Pack detector section 1109 detect reproduced CONT and A-CONT Packs contained in the DVD-Audio disc 1101 respectively. Control parameters of reproduced data are arranged in the parameter sections 1108 and 1114, and at the same time V Packs controlled by the information in the CONT Pack and A Packs controlled by the information in the A-CONT Pack are sequentially written in the V Pack buffer section 1104 and the A Pack buffer section 1110 respectively.

摘要： A format of data recorded in a DVD-Audio disc is composed of an audio manager (AMG) and a plurality of audio title sets (ATSs) following the AMG. A plurality of audio packs are arranged in each ATS. An audio signal indicating a musical composition is encoded to audio data in a signal processing circuit, and the audio data is arranged in the audio packs. The audio data of the audio packs are formatted in a DVD formatting unit with the AMG to be arranged in the ATSs following the AMG. Also, copyright information is arranged in an area of a control data block placed in a read-in area of the DVD-Audio disc. Table-of-contents (TOC) information indicating a top address of the audio data is automatically produced and is arranged in an empty area of the control data block reserved for the copyright information, in an area of the audio packs, in an area of the AMG or in an area of the ATSs. The AMG, the ATSs including the audio packs and the TOC information arranged at the data format in the DVD formatting unit are transmitted to a human editor through a transmission medium and is recorded in the DVD-Audio disc. Therefore, when the audio data is read out from the DVD-Audio disc, the audio data can be easily played back from the top position of the musical composition according to the TOC information.
