    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple-negative breast cancer detection marker, a method for detection or diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer using the marker, and a kit for detection or diagnosis of triple-negative breast cancer.SOLUTION: A melanoma inhibitory activity (MIA) gene, whose expression level is low in Luminal A, Luminal B and HER2 diseases among sub-types of breast cancer but whose expression level becomes high in the triple-negative breast cancer, and polypeptides encoded by the gene are used as triple-negative breast cancer detection markers. The triple-negative breast cancer detection markers are detected by using a detection probe for the triple-negative breast cancer marker gene and antibodies against polypeptides encoded by the gene, so that the triple-negative breast cancer can be quickly and securely detected or diagnosed.
