    • There are provided a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus for Baumkuchen for easily and properly suppressing shape distortion of the Baumkuchen caused in a manufacturing process thereof. In manufacturing the Baumkuchen by alternately repeating application of batter around the whole outer circumference of a spit and baking of the applied batter, the batter is scraped off outer circumferences of opposite end portions of the spit before baking only in early stage of manufacturing until the number of repetitions reaches a specified value. As a result, the number of cake layers formed at the opposite end portions of the Baumkuchen is reduced from that at the other portion and outside diameters of the opposite end portions are reduced from a normal outside diameter to thereby suppress partial increase in the outside diameter at the opposite end portions of the Baumkuchen caused by drooping of the batter at the end portions of the spit before baking.

    • With regard to a tractor having a high-powered engine, universal joints must be enlarged, whereby the attachment work of a power transmission shaft becomes difficult. Furthermore, the kind of the universal joints to be used is limited, thereby being inconvenient. Therefore, a tractor is constructed so that a transmission casing is arranged in a rear portion of a vehicle body, a front axle casing is arranged in the front portion of the vehicle body, and power from an engine is transmitted from an output shaft supported by the transmission casing through a power transmission shaft to an input shaft supported by the front axle casing. The tractor is characterized in that a gear casing is disposed between the transmission casing and the front axle casing, the output shaft of the transmission casing and an input shaft of the gear casing are arranged on a same line and connected to each other, and the input shaft of the front axle casing and an output shaft of the gear casing are arranged on a same line and connected to each other.

    • A crawler tractor comprises steering mechanisms (44) (45) for rotating a machine body by causing right and left crawler belts (9) to move differentially.
