      SOLUTION: According to the method, a grindstone 12 is moved into an inner hole 24 and the vane slot 26 from the side of a surface 22a, and while one surface 12a of the grindstone 12 is brought into contact with an inner wall 26a, the grindstone 12 is further moved in an arrow X+ direction to polish the inner wall 26a. When the grindstone 12 reaches a predetermined range T1, it is slightly separated from the inner wall 26a and moved in an arrow X- direction, followed by drawing the grindstone 12 out of the inner hole 24 and the vane slot 26. Next, a polishing device 10 is moved in a Z direction, and the other surface 12b of the grindstone 12 is brought into contact with an inner wall 26b of the vane slot 26, followed by further moving the other surface 12b in the arrow X+ direction to polish the inner wall 26b. When the grindstone 12 reaches the predetermined range T1, it is slightly separated from the inner wall 26b and moved in the arrow X- direction, followed by drawing the grindstone 12.
