    • To provide a rocker arm of a design effective to avoid occurrence of a loosening of the adjustment screw to ensure a proper operation of the internal combustion engine including the control of the opening of the valve body on the engine cylinder head, the rocker arm 1 is of a type capable of being rockingly driven by a cam 2 for selectively opening and closing a valve of an internal combustion engine. The rocker arm 1 includes an arm body 4 prepared from a steel plate by means of a press work to have a generally inverted U-shaped section. The arm body 4 has one end formed with an internally threaded hole 12 into which an adjustment screw 7 is threaded. This adjustment screw has one end defining a pivot piece 7b or a valve drive piece 7Ab. Two nuts 13 and 14 are threadingly mounted in overlapping relation to each other on one end portion of the adjustment screw 7 protruding outwardly from the arm body. Instead of the use of the two nuts 13 and 14, a flanged nut may be employed or a single nut 13 in combination with a washer 17 may be employed.

    • A rotary member as a one way clutch including an outer ring formed in its inner periphery with axial grooves each formed on its bottom with a cam surface tapered in one of the opposite directions of rotation, an outer member fixedly mounted on the outer ring and having an end wall for closing one end of the grooves, rolling elements received in the grooves and a closure member adapted to close the other end of the grooves and integrally provided on its inner surface with positioning members and biasing members adapted to be received in the grooves. The positioning members serve to hold the closure member in a fixed position relative to the outer ring. The biasing members serve to bias the rolling elements into narrower side of the cam surfaces. The grooves may have their bottom recessed to receive the positioning members therein. The closure member will thus be positively prevented from turning relative to the outer ring.

The storage device has a first light path and a second light path defined therein. Along the first light path, laser light emanating from a laser light source is passed through a collimator lens and a beam splitter and routed to a movable optical system that is movable on an optical disk. Along the second light path, light reflected from the optical disk and returned from the movable optical system is split into a plurality of rays by the beam splitter, and one of the rays is routed to a sensor via a servo unit and a condenser. An angle at which the second light path meets the first light path is 90°+&agr;° where &agr; denotes a positive number. At this time, a chassis of the storage device is die-cast, and a stationary optical unit having the first and second light paths defined therein is formed as an integral part of the die-cast chassis at an end of the chassis.
