    • Rubber-like or rubber-like-material-containing articles contain or are made from hydrogenated natural polyisoprenoids or modified products thereof. These rubber-like or rubber-like-material-containing articles include a rubber-like elastic article made from a hydrogenated natural polyisoprenoid or a modified product thereof. A polymer obtained by reacting a natural polyisoprenoid with hydrogen in a solvent in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, for example, can be used as the hydrogenated natural polyisoprenoid. The hydrogenated natural polyisoprenoid preferably has a degree of hydrogenation of 50% or more. The hydrogenated natural polyisoprenoid preferably has a weight-average molecular weight of 20×104 or more and a molecular-weight distribution of 2.0 or more. The rubber-like or rubber-like-material-containing articles have excellent heat resistance and weather resistance, and are also excellent in view of resources and environment, because they use plant-derived raw materials.

    • A separator that is excellent in workability and corrosion resistance, and allows a reduction in the number of constituent components of a fuel cell and the number of manufacturing process steps, and a manufacturing method therefore are provided. A separator includes a separating section for achieving separation between a hydrogen gas channel and an oxygen gas channel, and a sealing section disposed along an outer periphery of the separator, for preventing leakage of hydrogen and oxygen gases. The separating section and the sealing section are formed integrally with each other by means of plastic deformation processing, e.g., press working, of a metal thin sheet. A coating layer is formed n the metal thin sheet to coat the metal thin sheet's surface, and a DC power generated at an interface between a high polymer membrane and a catalytic electrode on contact of the coating layer with the catalytic electrode is taken out as a DC current and is collected at a power collector plate after passing through an interior of the separator. A high polymer elastic layer is provided at the part contacting the high polymer membrane of a sealing projection of the sealing section. The polymer elastic layer contacts the polymer film to seal.

    • The object of the invention is to provide a process for producing an organic solid electrolyte capacitor which is diminished in leakage current, and an apparatus for use in practicing the process. The process includes the steps of completing a capacitor element by forming a dielectric oxide film over an anode body of valve metal and subsequently forming a cathode layer of solid conductive organic material over the oxide film, subjecting the capacitor element to an aging treatment, and forming a shell around the capacitor element. The apparatus, which is an aging apparatus for such capacitor elements, comprises a box for accommodating a plurality of capacitor elements, a conductive buffer layer provided inside the box, a conductive holding member disposed on the box for attaching thereto the outer end of anode lead of each of the capacitor elements, with a silver paste layer of the element in contact with the buffer layer, a current limiter connected to the buffer layer for restricting the current to be passed through the capacitor element to not greater than a predetermined value, and a power source having positive and negative electrodes connected to the holding member and the current limiter, respectively.
