    • A heating apparatus for heating supply of gaseous fluid 1 heats a relatively low temperature gaseous fluid and feeds a heated supply flow to a high temperature gaseous fluid introduction equipment. The heating apparatus has heat exchangers 11, 12 provided with fluid passages through which the low temperature fluid flow passes, a splitting area 15 for dividing a heated supply flow H of gaseous fluid, which is heated by the heat exchanger, into first and second heated gaseous streams H1, H2, and combustion areas 13, 14 in which a combustion reaction of combustible matter takes place in the existence of the first heated gaseous stream. The heated supply flow or the first stream is introduced into the combustion area and the combustible matter is fed thereto, and the combustion area causes the combustion reaction of combustible matter in the existence of the heated supply flow or the first stream. Hot gas produced by the combustion reaction is exhausted through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a regenerator which accumulates heat in its heat-transferable contact with the hot gas and emits the heat in its heat-transferable contact with the low temperature gaseous fluid. The heating apparatus heats or preheats the low temperature gaseous fluid to a high temperature and feeds the second heated gaseous stream to the equipment.

    • A solid fuel gasification system of the present invention enables omission of the char recycling means and enables production of syngas having a high calorific value and containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide as its main components. The gasification system has a pyrolysis area isolated from supply of air; a char combustion area producing a high temperature combustion gas by combustion of char of the pyrolysis area; a dust remover cleaning the combustion gas; combustion means for reheating the cleaned combustion gas to raise its temperature; and a steam heater for heating steam up to a high temperature by heat exchange between the combustion gas and the steam. The gasification system pyrolyzes the solid fuel with use of the high temperature steam so that syngas is produced, which contains hydrogen and carbon monoxide as its main components.

    • A gasifying apparatus comprises a gasifier, a reformer and a heating device. The gasifier produces a thermal decomposed gas with use of a thermal decomposition reaction of a liquid or solid fuel such as waste or coal, and the heating device heats a low-temperature steam and air so as to be a high-temperature steam and air, which have a temperature equal to or higher than 700 deg. C. The gasifying apparatus has feeding means including fluid passages for feeding the high-temperature steam and air to the gasifier and the reformer. In a thermal decomposition area of the gasifier, the liquid or solid fuel is thermally decomposed to produce the thermal decomposed gas with sensible heat of the high-temperature steam and air and with the heat generated by an exothermic oxidation reaction between the high-temperature air and the liquid or solid fuel. In the reformer, the thermal decomposed gas is reformed in the existence of the high-temperature steam so as to be a high-temperature syngas. The steam reforming reaction of the liquid or solid fuel is carried out with an exothermic reaction between the high-temperature air and hydrocarbon contained in the thermal decomposed gas and with an endothermic reaction between the hydrocarbon and the high-temperature steam.

    • This invention provides a mobile communication system in which a call-incoming side can switch a communication line to an appropriate one which corresponds to a communication type requested by a transmitter's terminal. One example of its construction is as follows. A mobile station has a plurality of terminal units corresponding to plural types of communication and a call number is preliminarily assigned to each of them. A terminal unit in a telephone network uses a call number corresponding to a desired communication type when a datum is transmitted to the mobile station. The mobile station informs this call number to all of the terminal units which are connected to the mobile station. The respective terminal units inform the communication type to the mobile station only when the communication type corresponding to the call number can be handled. The mobile station informs this communication type contained in a reception call receiving signal to a mobile communication exchange. The mobile communication exchange selects a modulated/demodulator corresponding to this communication type.

    • The present invention provides a mobile station which can perform communication using a specific communication system such as HSDPA and HSUPA, with priority, and a communication system selection method thereof. The mobile station for performing communication using a specific communication system includes: a transmission/reception unit for receiving broadcast information from a plurality of communication base stations; an acquisition unit for acquiring a plurality of pieces of cell information on cells which the mobile station can camp on and on a communication systems which can be used in the cells; and a control unit for selecting one cell where the specific communication system can be used from the plurality of pieces of cell information acquired by the acquisition unit, and performing processing for the mobile station to camp on this cell. By using this mobile station, communication using a specific communication system such as HSDPA or HSUPA can be performed with priority.
