摘要： In a pager receiver having a display unit and carrying out operations in relation to each of previous and current messages stored in a RAM, only reception of the current message is indicated by an optical indicator included in the display unit when each operation is being carried out in relation to the previous message. The current message is displayed on a LCD of the display unit after completion of each operation related to the previous message. The previous message can completely be displayed without sudden interruption which may occur on reception of the current message. Each message is stored in an assigned sector set of the RAM with the number of the assigned sector set kept in an assigned file of the RAM. The number of the assigned file is monitored by a CPU to readily erase or protect each message.

摘要： A synchronizing circuit for synchronizing the phase of a clock signal to the phase of a received digital signal includes a phase monitoring circuit for detecting, during each bit period of the digital signal, the phase advance of delay of the clock signal relative to the digital signals. A phase signal is outputting which is indicative of the phase advance or delay of the clock signal. A phase control circuit responds to the phase signal to either advance, delay or leave unchanged the phase of the clock signal with respect to the received digital signal. An inhibiting circuit coupled to the phase control circuit operates to prevent the phase control circuit from reversing the sense of the phase adjustment from advance to delay or from delay to advance in consecutive bit positions, interposing instead one bit position during which the phase of the clock signal is left unadjusted.

A timer stamps the message signal with current time when the paging number coincides with the predetermined paging number of the receiver. A memory stores message signals already received and stamped with time information. The message signal stamped with current time is compared with the message signals stamped with received time stored in the memory and, when contents of these message signals are coincident and a difference in time between these message signals is within a predetermined time, the message signal is deemed as an urgent message and an urgent report is performed.

摘要： A hollow container having a grip is formed by injection molding the grip and annular rings onto a blow molded container. An injection molded parison is first stretch blow molded to form a hollow container body having annular grooves. The hollow container body is then placed in a mold having molding grooves and a grip molding cavity. The molding grooves on the mold and the annular grooves on the container body together define connecting ring molding cavities. A pressure higher than ambient pressure is applied to the interior of the hollow container body. Then the grip and connecting rings are formed onto the hollow container body by injection filling the grip and connecting ring molding cavities.

摘要： A method for eliminating the troublesome need to select and erase messages one by one which are stored in a memory of a radio pager. A multi-function switch is provided via which the pager can be switched on and off. A controller of the pager determines if each of messages stored in the memory has been retained in the memory for more than a predetermined period of time. Then, a message is erased in the event that one of: (A) the message has been stored in the memory for more than the predetermined time period and the multi-function switch is operated in a manner which changes the on/off status of the pager; and (B) (i) the message has been stored in the memory for more than the predetermined period of time and the pager is in the power on status, or (ii) the message has been stored in the memory for more than the predetermined period of time when the pager is switched on after being switched off.
