    • The present invention relates to a memory address generating method and a twiddle factor generator using the memory address generating method in a fast Fourier transform (FFT) system. In the memory address generating method for generating a memory address of a twiddle factor in a fast Fourier transform (FFT) system according to an embodiment of the present invention: a) a temporary address value of a second twiddle factor is induced and generated based on a first twiddle factor; b) a control signal for controlling the system is generated based on the generated temporary address value; and c) a memory address value of the second twiddle factor is generated from the temporary address value.

    • The present invention relates to a service mode switching method based on a software communication architecture (SCA) of a reconfigurable base station system. In an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, first and second service mode software component files are stored and managed by separating the first and second service mode software component files into a common component file used for first and second modes in common and first and second mode individual component files individually used for the first and second modes. When the first mode is established according to an applied request, the first mode individual component file is operated, and the base station in the first mode is operated. When the second mode is established according to another applied request, the operation of the first mode individual component file is stopped.

    • A method for searching for a base station using paging procedure in a mobile communication network has a paging agent that performs the paging procedure. The method includes: receiving, at the paging agent, subscriber information including information of a service, to which a mobile node subscribed, from a home location register while performing a location registration procedure in response to a location registration request from the mobile node; setting an available scan time based on the time required to perform the paging procedure; generating a paging request message including the available scan time and the subscriber information to send the paging request message to a base station required for paging; and generating base station information based on the subscriber information to input into the paging request message to transmit with the available scan time to the mobile node.

    • The adaptive frequency control apparatus includes: a frequency downstreamer for converting the frequency of the radio frequency signal to a frequency of a defined band according to a reference signal; a frequency error measurer for measuring a frequency error between a frequency of the output signal of the frequency downstreamer and a defined frequency; a loop filter for filtering the frequency error output from the frequency error measurer based on a plurality of operational parameters, the operational parameters being changeable; a differential amplifier for generating a control signal for a voltage control based on the output signal of the loop filter; and a voltage-controlled oscillator for changing the frequency of the reference signal according to the control signal of the differential amplifier.
