摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable and low-cost condition responsive sense system for sensing pressure, acceleration, torque, force and the like, and an adjustment method thereof.
SOLUTION: An MSC 10 of an ASIC is connected to a plurality of sense elements 1 to 6 for analog multiplexing (10a, 10b, 10c) the outputs from a selected sense element to a common signal conditioning path 10f. The sense elements are biased through a resistor 10d1 to derive a temperature signal. The signal conditioning path provides correction for offset and gain. Characteristic data of the sensors provided at the time of manufacture is stored in non-volatile memory 10h, which is downloaded to a host controller 12 on command. The ASIC also includes diagnostic test bridges BR1 and BR2 for diagnosing ASIC faults and a signal diagnostic path 10m for diagnosing sense element and sense element connection faults. Characteristic data downloaded to the host controller enables the controller to mathematically correct temperature, condition, and diagnostic signal errors.
