    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a further thinner spring member improved in strength and durability, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.
      SOLUTION: The spring member 10 formed by applying non-coiling work to a plate material has the same thickness as that of a plate material and extends in the planar direction of the plate material. The member includes arms 12, 13 elastically bendable in the planar direction, and a spiral part 11 having pull-around portions 15, 16 integrally ranging from the arms 12, 13 for energizing the arms 12, 13 to be restored during elastic bending, respectively. The plate material is of a Co-Ni based alloy having a weight-ratio composition of 28-42% Co, 10-27% Cr, 3-12% Mo, 15-40% Ni, 0.1-1.0% Ti, 1.5% or lower Mn, 0.1-26.0% Fe, 0.1% or lower C, unavoidable impurities, and at least one type of 3.0% or lower Nb, 5.0% or lower W, 0.5% or lower Al, 0.1% or lower Zr, and 0.01% or lower B.
