    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrooptical device for enhancing luminance on the front face of a scattering film or in the neighborhood of it and preventing rainbow-like coloring, and to provide electronic equipment including the electrooptical device. SOLUTION: The electrooptical device includes an electrooptical material between a pair of substrates, a scattering film layer 16 on one substrate side, and a reflector 14 on the other substrate side. The scattering film layer 16 transmits incident light, diffuses light reflected from the reflector 14, and is arranged so that an incident light side is a minus side when one side for a reference face orthogonal to the surface is the minus side and the other side is a plus side, and a plurality of the scattering films 16A (16B) formed to have diffusion characteristics being a prescribed angle of the plus side from a prescribed angle of the minus side are formed to be laminated when the diffusion angle range makes zero angles of a normal direction of the scattering film.
