    • Rotary electronic component of the invention has a contact board and an elastic contact. The contact board, including an annular contact having an arc-segmental portion split by a slit with a predetermined width and signaling contacts disposed at spaced positions and in electrical continuation with the arc-segmental portion, is fixed in a resin molding with the annular contact exposed on the top plane of the resin molding. The elastic contact slides on the contact board along the annular contact. In this rotary electronic component, a stress occurring when the annular contact is fixed by molding on to the contact board is relaxed owing to presence of the slit. Thus, a rotary electronic component generating an electric signal with a stabilized waveform over a long time can be obtained.

    • A rotary variable resistor including a rotator having at an upper part a disk-shaped flange provided with a rectangular first adjustment hole penetrating a circumferential portion thereof and at a lower part a cylindrical shaft, and an adjustment plate having a slider at a lower surface thereof and a second adjustment hole with a narrower width than that of the first adjustment hole on an annular flat plate portion. The rotator is integrated into the adjustment plate by fitting the adjustment plate into the shaft of the rotator with adjusting the position of the first adjustment hole with the second adjustment hole. Thus, a rotary variable resistor is configured. After a product is completed, by applying a force from the side of the first adjustment hole to a side wall in the direction of rotation of the second adjustment hole, the adjustment plate can be moved so as to adjust the output voltage ratio.

    • Disclosed is a sound source detection device 1 which compares information of sound collected by sound collectors 13, 14, 15, and 16 to detect a predetermined sound source. The sound source detection device 1 includes a target determination unit 22 which arranges sound collectors at the same distance from a noise source inside a mobile object to determine a detection-target region of a sound source, and a sound source detection unit 25 which detects the direction of the predetermined sound source using information of sound of the detection-target region determined by the target determination unit 22. Accordingly, the sound source detection unit 25 does not determine sound input to the sound collectors 13, 14, 15, and 16 at the same timing as a detection target, making it possible to eliminate the influence of a noise source other than a sound source inside the mobile object in advance.
