摘要： Provided is a technique for easily detecting a person who attempts illegal camcording, by using device(s) that removes non-visible light as an anti-camcording interference image from a video image containing the non-visible light. A video image display system includes: a screen that displays a video image; an infrared ray emitting unit that projects infrared rays together with the video image toward an observer; and an infrared ray camera that detects infrared rays reflected by a video camera owned by the observer. The infrared ray camera particularly detects reflection light from an infrared ray cut filter attached to the video camera of the observer.

On a backside of the screen, there is provided an infrared ray emitting unit that emits infrared light from a video image display surface during a period while video images are being displayed on the screen. A light amount of the infrared light varies with time. It varies at a time interval equal to or less than a time constant of auto-iris control of a content recording device.

In the case where the electronic watermark is not detected from the predetermined number of pieces of continuous frame data, a non-detection count is calculated, and falsification of the predetermined number of pieces of frame data is determined on the basis of the detected regularity information and the non-detection count. Accordingly, falsification such as deletion, addition, and replacement of video content is detected with high accuracy using the electronic watermark.

Instead of embedding watermarking information in respective pixels or by using a relation between pixels, the watermarking information is embedded as a position pattern of changed pixels in the contents.
