    • An imager includes an array of pixels arranged in rows and a control circuit for sequentially capturing first and second image frames from the array of pixels. The control circuit is configured to sequentially capture first and second pairs of adjacent rows of pixels during first and second exposure times, respectively, when capturing the first image frame. The control circuit is also configured to sequentially capture first and second pairs of adjacent rows of pixels during second and first exposure times, respectively, when capturing the second image frame. The first exposure times during the first and second frames are of similar duration; and the second exposure times during the first and second frames are of similar duration. The control circuit is configured to detect motion of an object upon combining the first and second image frames and, then, correct for the motion of the object.

    • An apparatus and a method for color compensation in multi-view video is provided. Video sequences corresponding to a common scene of interest are captured and processed using the master and slave channels respectively. A compensation gain is calculated based on a set of global color ratio statistics obtained from the master and slave channels. The compensation gain is applied to the slave channel. An initial master color correction matrix is combined with a master color matching matrix to obtain a final master color correction matrix. The initial slave color correction matrix is combined with a slave color matching matrix to obtain a final slave color correction matrix. The master and gain-compensated slave channels are color-compensated by applying the final master and final slave color correction matrices to the master and gain-compensated slave channels, respectively.

    • A method for selecting antenna elements at a base station can include selecting multiple transmit antenna elements from several antenna elements according to a work mode of the base station. The work mode can be an open-loop or a closed-loop working mode. In open-loop mode the base station does not receive feedback information regarding channel quality from a mobile station. In closed-loop mode feedback information is received. For example, for control signaling, or when the speed of a mobile station is very high, the base station may determine that the working mode is open-loop. When the information being transmitted is data for a specific mobile station and the mobile station is moving at a speed under a threshold, the base station may select or determine the working mode to be the closed-loop working mode. Antenna elements are selected, for example, according to a spatial correlation appropriate to the work mode.
