    • A method for computer booting via using a motherboard combined with a fingerprint recognition module and an apparatus thereof combine a fingerprint recognition module with the computer motherboard and perform a fingerprint input process stored in a basic input/output system (BIOS) during booting or resetting the computer. The method inputs a fingerprint image signal via a fingerprint input module and sends the fingerprint image signal to a fingerprint recognition module to produce a recognition code. Then, it compares the recognition code with at least a pre-stored recognition code to produce a comparison result. Finally, it uses the comparison result to determine if booting the computer is permitted. Thereby, the method and apparatus can employ the fingerprints for identification to provide true computer security and protect a user's privacy.

    • A sealant curing device (9), for a liquid crystal display panel (2) having a black matrix (300), sealant (700), and liquid crystal (500). The sealant curing device includes a worktable (800) having a reflecting surface (801) which reflects ultraviolet light to the sealant so as to cure it, and a plurality of supporting members (600) disposed on the worktable to support the liquid crystal display panel. The ultraviolet light is reflected by the reflecting surface to irradiate portions of the sealant shielded by the black matrix. Heights of the supporting members can be adjusted to change the angles of incidence of the ultraviolet light, thereby helping ensure that the sealant is completely cured. A side reflector (150) is also provided. In this way, the entire sealant can be completely cured, and the liquid crystal cannot be contaminated by uncured sealant. This can improve the display quality and efficiency of manufacture.

    • The present invention describes a method for automatically filling in user data using fingerprint identification employed in recognizing user's identification. Thus, it creates a web page in first step and then uses the previously saved user's ID, account and password for a database of a specific software application, which is applied to user's ID and password required web page. Meanwhile, user is required to enter the image of user's fingerprint and generate an ID code, and these are checked against the previously saved user's identification information. The user's ID and password according to the corresponding information in the database is retrieved and filled in automatically in that form in the web page if the result of is consistent. The invention can provide a method of identification with security, and also manages user information.
