摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase plasma generation points relatively easily and reliably, in a waveguide including plasma generation means and a plasma generator using the waveguide.SOLUTION: In a waveguide 20 including plasma generation means P1-P6 for generating plasma by microwave, one end side in the longitudinal direction is connected with a microwave source for supplying microwaves in the waveguide, and a waveguide terminal 22 capable of reflecting microwaves supplied from the microwave source is provided on the other end side facing the one end side in the longitudinal direction. The waveguide terminal is movable in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of plasma generation means is disposed in the waveguide in the longitudinal direction, at an interval of 1/2 of the wavelength in the waveguide of the standing-wave of microwaves from the microwave source.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer that efficiently sterilizes articles like containers, etc. using active oxygen generated from plasma, and a sterilization method with this sterilizer. SOLUTION: The sterilizer sterilizes bacteria attached to an article 101 by getting it into contact with a gas 100 including active oxygen generated either from oxygen gas plasma or through the contact of the plasma of other gas than oxygen with oxygen gas. This sterilizer is characterized in that it is provided with a non-conductive gas flow tube 1 to introduce or discharge into air a gas to be used as plasma, and a conductive antenna tube 2 surrounding the gas flow tube. The antenna tube has a slit 3 with a fixed length opened along the axis of the gas flow tube, and that microwaves are irradiated on the antenna tube to turn the gas in the gas flow tube into plasma.
