摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MVA type translucent liquid crystal display panel that has excellent manufacturing efficiency, good reliability of a pixel electrode, and a long life. SOLUTION: The MVA type translucent liquid crystal display panel 10 has: a first substrate equipped with pixel electrodes 19 which are demarcated by signal lines 13 and scanning lines 12 arranged in a matrix and have slits 33 between transmission parts 16 and reflection parts 15 provided at respective positions and reflection plates 18 provided below the pixel electrodes 19a of the reflection parts; a second substrate which has alignment restricting means 31 provided opposite at least the transmission parts 16 and has a common electrode formed on a surface; vertical alignment films laminated on the first substrate and second substrate; and a liquid crystal layer which is arranged between both the substrates and has negative dielectric constant anisotropy, wherein the reflection plates 18 is positioned so as not to come in contact with parts 34 which are formed by the slits 33 and where the pixel electrodes 19 become narrow.
