    • PURPOSE: To utilize a compressed gas source for the cleaning of a mixing chamber to various purposes, by combining a mix tank, a syrup tank, a refrigeration chamber, a mixing chamber and a compressed gas source in a manner to exert a specific action.
      CONSTITUTION: The electrically delayed stop operation of syrup and shake base is carried out. The operation is effective to prevent the admizing of the formerly extracted syrup when different syrup is supplied to the mixing chamber 95 by the following extraction step. Thereafter, the switch 121 is opened, the electrical current to the motor 102 is broken to stop the stirring blades 97, the residual shake in the mixing chamber 95 is extracted almost completely, and finally, the switch 119 is opened to stop the electrical current to the motor 77 and the stirrer 72 is stopped. After the completion of the above extraction operations, the needle solenoid valve 28 is opened by pushing the cleaning switch 114, and the compressed gas is supplied from the compressed gas tank though the cleaning pipe to the mixing chamber 95. The mixing chamber 95 is cleaned by the pressure of the compressed gas.

      CONSTITUTION: When both of the first cooling operations with the front cooling system and the rear cooling system are stopped, both of the output voltages of the AND circuits 158 and 159 become "H" state. Accordingly, the 6th transistor 174 and the 7th transistor 176 is turned ON, the 3rd relay 175 and the 4th relay 177 are energized, and the normally-open contacts 175A and 175B of the 3rd relay 175, the normally-open contacts 275A and 175B of the 4th relay 175, and the normall-open contacts 177A and 177B of the 4th relay 177 are closed. The valve of the compressor 34 is opened thereby, and the operation to heat the refrigeration chamber 3 to circulate the hot gas to the front evaporation pipe 36 is started. At the same time, the rear compressor 38 is driven, the rear hot gas solenoid valve is opened, and the operation to heat the rear part of the refrigeration chamber 3 to circulate the hot gas through the by-pass 52 to the rear evaporation pipe 44 is started.

    • PURPOSE: To enable the efficient cooling of a refrigeration chamber, and to prepare ice cream having high quality constantly and stably, by combining a mix tank, a syrup tank, a refrigeration chamber, a mixing chamber, a compressed gas source, a cooling system and its controlling means in a manner to exert a specific action.
      CONSTITUTION: When the shake base is delivered from the refrigeration chamber 3 to the mixing chamber, the pressure-drop in the refrigeration chamber is detected by the pressure sensor 17 to close the pressure switch. The solenoid valve 16 for the feeding of the mix is opened to supply the mix from the mix tank 1 to the refrigeration tank 3 until the pressure in the refrigeration chamber reaches a specific level, when the pressure switch is opened by the pressure sensor 17 to close the mix-feeding solenoid valve and stop the supply of the mix. The controlling circuit acts effectively in the above mix-supplying operation. The temperature rise caused by the supply to the mix is detected quickly by the rear thermistor, and the refrigeration operation of the rear cooling system is started by the rear cooling system controlling circuit to enable the quick preparation of the shake base having ideal hardness.
