摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cutting and forming a sealing member which causes pile fabric fibers not to enter between edges of a cutting blade when a raw fabric comprising the pile fabric is cut, and to provide a sealing member produced by the method. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal member which prevents leakage of toner to outside of an image processing device for electrophotography, prevents invasion of a pile to powder, prevents external leakage of the powder, stabilizes the compressive load of the pile, increases the scraping forces of the powder, and does not block the rotation of the powder carrier by having good sealing property with a low load at the end of the powder carrier roller. SOLUTION: The powder carrier roller 5 carries the powder 4 of a device 1 which handles the powder internally. The seal member 2 of the powder carrier roller 5, which prevents leakage of the powder 4 from the end 5a of the powder carrier roller 5, is constituted of the pile 3a or fiber 3b made of at least one fiber among natural fiber, man-made fiber or synthetic fiber, and its plate-shaped support member 2a. The length of the pile 3a or fiber 3b on the side contacting the powder 4 is formed shorter than the length of the pile 3a or fiber 3b on the side not contacting the powder 4 to make a cut face 3h.
