    • A resource allocation method and apparatus for a frequency overlay system that is capable of reducing the overhead of the resource allocation information transmitted by the base station is provided. A frequency overlay system of the present invention includes a base station which transmits resource allocation information including an address type selected among multiple address types designating addresses for transmission resource in different patterns and an address value indicating a resource region allocated according to the selected address type and at least one mobile station which receives the resource allocation information and receives data through the resource region identified with reference to the resource type and address value indicated by the resource allocation information; and a resource allocation method of the present invention includes transmitting, at a base station, resource allocation information including an address type selected among multiple address types designating addresses for transmission resource in different patterns and an address value indicating a resource region allocated according to the selected address type, and receiving, at a mobile station, data through the resource region identified with reference to the resource type and address value indicated by the resource allocation information.

    • A cooperative relay method and system in a multi-hop relay network are provided. The method may include receiving, at a first time slot, resource allocation information from a base station, and identifying a first hop Mobile Station (MS) data zone, receiving, at the first time slot, first hop MS data in the identified first hop MS data zone, and storing the received first hop MS data, and receiving, at a second time slot, second hop MS data from a relay station, and combining the first hop MS data with the second hop MS data.     • The present invention relates to a communications system and a telecommunication method thereof. In the communications system of the present invention, a communications terminal decides a precoding matrix index, in the reception of a pilot signal through a specific downlink channel, examining a channel quality information of the downlink channel according to the decided precoding matrix index, and transmitting a feedback information including the decided precoding matrix index and the examined channel quality information to a serving base station. In the communications system of the present invention, the serving base station decides a priority factor by using the examined channel quality information, in the reception of the feedback information, compares the decided priority factor with other priority factor, when receiving a backhaul information including the other priority factor from the neighboring base station. As a result of the comparison, a priority is given to a higher priority factor such that a base station having the priority suggests the use of precoding matrix to the neighboring base station.
