    • Disclosed herein is an electronic paper, more particularly to an electronic paper capable of actually realizing full colors. The electronic paper includes upper and lower electrodes made of a transparent material and disposed to face each other; transparent barrier ribs disposed between the upper and lower electrodes to form a plurality of cells; twist balls each having a sphere-shaped structure and received in each of the cells, the twist ball having first and second display regions on a surface thereof and the first and second display regions being colored with different colors and respectively electrified with positive charges and negative charges; and a black matrix layer provided below the transparent barrier ribs, the black matrix layer having a larger width than the transparent barrier rib.

    • There are provided a method of manufacturing an electronic paper display device and an electronic paper display device manufactured by the method, and the method of manufacturing an electronic display device includes: providing a substrate having a plurality of walls and a plurality of cells defined by the walls; disposing at least one kind of rotators in the cells; disposing a display-sided electrode on the substrate to cover the rotators; and disposing a back electrode, opposite to the display-sided electrode, on the substrate, in which the rotators are arranged in the cells by a jig having a cylindrical center body, retaining grooves that are formed around the center body and retain the rotator, protrusions that are formed between adjacent retaining grooves, and a guide that is formed around the protrusions and has inlets and an outlet for the rotators.The rotators can be regularly arranged in the cells by a roll-to-roll imprint process using a jig, such that it is possible to provide a method of manufacturing an electronic paper display device having an improved screen contrast ratio, and an electronic paper display device.

    • Provided is a sacrifice layer formed on a first substrate. A thin film laminated body is formed on the sacrifice layer. A separation groove exposing the sacrifice layer is formed to divide the thin film laminated body into at least one thin film device. The sacrifice layer is partially removed using a dry etching process. After the partial removal of the sacrifice layer, a remaining sacrifice layer region maintains the thin film device on the first substrate. A supporting structure is temporarily joined to the thin film device. The thin film device joined to the supporting structure is separated from the first substrate. Then, the remaining sacrifice layer is removed. The thin film device joined to the supporting structure is joined to a second substrate. Finally, the supporting structure is separated from the thin film device.
