摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device with excellent display characteristics in addition to good contrast ratio and wide viewing angle, and high response speed of a liquid crystal molecule.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first substrate and a second substrate that face each other, a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules and provided between the first substrate and the second substrate, and a first pixel electrode and a second pixel electrode separated from each other and disposed on the first substrate. One of the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode is applied with first voltage via a data line, while the other of the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode is applied with second voltage via a voltage transmission line. Each of the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode includes a trunk and a plurality of branch electrodes extending from the trunk. The branch electrodes of the first pixel electrode and the branch electrodes of the second pixel electrode are arranged alternately. The trunks of the first pixel electrode and the second pixel electrode overlap at least partially with the voltage transmission line.
