摘要： Exemplary methods and systems for killing or deactivating spores include applying a fluid to a surface containing a spore; and applying direct or indirect plasma to the surface for a period of time. In some embodiments, the fluid includes water. In some embodiments, the spore is Clostridium difficile and in some is Bacillus Anthracis. In some embodiments, the fluid is in the form of a mist and in some is in the form of a vapor. In some embodiments, peroxynitrite is created in the fluid during the method. Another exemplary embodiment of killing or deactivating a spore includes treating spores with direct plasma or an indirect plasma for a period of time and applying an antimicrobial to the spores. In some embodiments, the antimicrobial is an alcohol, a bleach or an alcohol-based sanitizer.

One exemplary embodiment includes a flexible pad and a plurality of electrodes located in the pad within close proximity of each other, and a flexible dielectric barrier surrounding the plurality of electrodes and separating the plurality of electrodes from each other. Wherein when a high voltage pulse is applied to one or more of the plurality of electrodes, plasma is produced between a surface of the flexible pad and a portion of the body in close proximity to the flexible pad.

An exemplary methodology of delivering DNA vaccines includes providing a plasma generator for applying plasma to a treatment area for a sufficient period of time to open one or more pores. Applying a topical DNA vaccine to the treatment area and waiting for a period of time to allow the DNA vaccine to travel through the one or more pores. The exemplary methodology further includes applying plasma to the treatment area at a setting sufficient to cause intracellular uptake of the DNA vaccine.

摘要： A computerized system for displaying, geolocating, and taking measurements from captured oblique images includes a data file accessible by the computer system. The data file includes a plurality of image files corresponding to a plurality of captured oblique images, and positional data corresponding to the images. Image display and analysis software is executed by the system for reading the data file and displaying at least a portion of the captured oblique images. The software retrieves the positional data for one or more user-selected points on the displayed image, and calculates a separation distance between any two or more selected points. The separation distance calculation is user-selectable to determine various parameters including linear distance between, area encompassed within, relative elevation of, and height difference between selected points.

摘要： A computerized system for displaying and making measurements based upon captured oblique images. The system includes a computer system executing image display and analysis software. The software reads a plurality of captured oblique images having corresponding geo-location data and a data table storing ground plane data that approximates at least a portion of the terrain depicted within the captured oblique images. The executed software causes the computer system to receive a starting point selected by a user, receive an end point selected by the user and calculate a desired measurement between the starting and end points dependent upon the geo-location data and ground plane data. The desired measurement is selected from a group consisting of a distance measuring mode, a height measuring mode, and a relative elevation measuring mode.
