摘要： An air conditioner comprises an outdoor unit and an indoor unit provided with an indoor heat exchanger and an indoor expansion device, wherein the outdoor unit comprises a compressor for compressing a refrigerant, an outdoor heat exchanger for heat-exchanging a refrigerant, a four-way valve adjacently arranged to the compressor for circulating a refrigerant discharged from the compressor according to a heating cycle or a cooling cycle, a refrigerant detouring path for detouring a refrigerant discharged from the outdoor heat exchanger to the compressor at the time of a defrosting operation, an outdoor expansion device installed in the middle of the detouring path for reducing a pressure of a refrigerant which flows in the refrigerant detouring path, and a heat exchanging device installed in the middle of the detouring path for heat-exchanging between a refrigerant introduced from the outdoor expansion device and a refrigerant discharged from the compressor.

摘要： A multi type air conditioner comprises: an outdoor unit including an outdoor heat exchanger heat-exchanged with the outdoor air, a compressor compressing a refrigerant, and a first four-way valve and a second four-way valve switching a refrigerant flow path; indoor units performing at least one of cooling operation and heating operation; and a distributor including a low pressure pipe connected between the first four-way valve and each of the indoor units, a high pressure pipe connected between the second four-way valve and each of the indoor units, and a refrigerant pipe connected between the outer heat-exchanger and each of the indoor units. Accordingly, flow resistance of a refrigerant is reduced in heating operation, thereby improving heating performance and heating efficiency, and the amount of refrigerant accumulated within a high pressure pipe is minimized in cooling operation, thereby improving cooling performance and cooling efficiency.

摘要： A multi-air conditioner capable of simultaneous cooling and heating, includes: a first duct connected to a discharge side of a compressor, through which a refrigerant discharged from the compressor passes at the time of cooling operation; a second duct diverged from the first duct, through which a refrigerant discharged from the compressor passes at the time of heating operation; and an oil accumulation preventing portion formed at a certain section of the second duct to have a height difference, for preventing oil, which is introduced to the second duct from the compressor together with a refrigerant, from being accumulated in the second duct. Accordingly, the multi-air conditioner capable of simultaneous cooling and heating can prevent damage to the compressor due to a shortage of oil and thusly improve reliability of a compressor by preventing oil accumulation within a duct.
