摘要： The present invention relates to a method of protecting maize, which is tolerant to cycloxydim and sethoxydim, from application of a damaging ACCase inhibiting herbicide, the method comprising applying to said maize, parts thereof or locus thereof an antagonistically effective amount of a safener selected from the group consisting of benoxacor, cloquintocet-mexyl, isoxadifen-ethyl, cyprosulfamide and N-(2-methoxybenzoyl)-4-[(methylaminocarbonyl) amino]benzenesulfonamide. The invention further provides a herbicide composition comprising (a) a herbicide of formula (I) or an agrochemically acceptable salt thereof; and (b) a herbicide selected from the group consisting of metribuzin, hexazinone and tebuthiuron.
