This structure has advantages of, e.g. reduced energy cost by improved energy efficiency, shortened working time by improved workability, reduced initial investment by simple overall monolithic designs, applicability to diversified purposes, and simplified maintenance and repair works.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method capable of supporting the growth of large plants by combining removable cylindrical bodies with the holes of a culture panel in water culture. SOLUTION: This method for water-culturing plants is to carry out the water culture by separately housing each of small pieces of urethane planted with a plant into plural cylindrical bodies engaged to holes installed in a panel. The diameter of the cylindrical body is determined by the width of a hill spread and the height is determined by controlling the lateral branch spread of the above-ground part of a plant without bringing the plant to an irregular shape and in a necessary height as a restrained support frame for protecting lodging of the plant. But the height is different depending on the size of the objective plant expected at the time of harvest. The quality of the aforesaid cylindrical body is preferably transparent or semitransparent in order to be easily irradiated and it is effective to make a notch at the lower end opening of the cylindrical body in order not to disturb the flow of the nutrition liquid.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for harvesting a plant after reducing water content in the plant by shutting off feeding of a culture solution to the plant before harvesting to easily handle the plant, as a large plant is apt to be broken during a harvest work caused by the high pressure of its inside in a water culture. SOLUTION: This method for water-culturing a plant is to actively cut off the contact of the root of the plant and a culture solution at a predetermined time before a scheduled harvest time. A harvesting process is brought to include a process to reduce water content of the plant to some extent by, for example, beginning the cutting off of water feed before 6 hours to wither the plant not to be broken. In this process, rigidity and strength are confirmed visually or by contacting to the plant. An attachment used in need for the process is also included.
