摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover a microparticulate natural rubber from a serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex in a high yield and purity by adding a specified amount of an inorganic salt to the serum. SOLUTION: To the serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex, an inorganic salt in an amount sufficient to effect the phase separation of the microparticulate natural rubber in the serum is added, and the microparticulate natural rubber is separated as a cream. The natural rubber latex may be a common not deproteinized natural rubber latex or a previously deproteinized one. In an alternative method, the above specified amount of an inorganic salt and 0.01-10 g, per 100 ml of the serum, of a proteolytic enzyme are added to a serum obtained by centrifuging a natural rubber latex to effect deproteinization, and a microparticulate natural rubber is separated from the serum as a cream. According to this method, a deproteinized microparticulate natural rubber can be recovered. The inorganic salt is not particularly limited.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural rubber suitable for applications such as gloves for surgery use, etc., which is not only allergy-free, and good in elongation, elasticity and film strength, but also low in hardness and modulus, and a method for preparing the rubber. SOLUTION: This deproteinized natural rubber which is epoxidized has a nitrogen content of 0.02 wt.% or less and an epoxidation rate of 1-10 mol%. its crosslinked product is formed by crosslinking with at least one type of crosslinking agent selected from the group consisting of a dibasic acid, a diamine compd., and a guanidine compd. This rubber is obtd. by formulating a deproteinized natural rubber having a nitrogen content of 0.02 wt.% or less with a specific amt. of an org. peracid. followed by epoxidation, and then formulating 1-20 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent with 100 pts.wt. of the rubber followed by crosslinking.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject natural rubber that is substantially free from protein and bonded fatty acid, is excellent in mechanical properties and processability and shows high insulation characteristics by soaking solid natural rubber or solid natural rubber previously swollen with hydrocarbon solvent in a mixture of a specific amount of alkali hydroxide, a specific alcohol and water. SOLUTION: (A) A solid natural rubber as pale crepe or a solid natural rubber previously swollen with a hydrocarbon solvent as hexane is soaked, preferably lower than 100 deg.C, in (B) a mixture of 0.5-4-fold amount of an alkali hydroxide as potassium hydroxide, based on the weight of the rubber, preferably for 1-5 hours whereby the objective purified solid rubber is obtained from which protein is removed down to 0.02 wt.% or less on the nitrogen basis and bonded fatty acid is removed down 0.05 wt.% or less.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing a rubber product capable of forming rubber membranes having a good membrane thickness by the use of a deproteinized natural rubber latex having been stabilized with a surface active agent, and a heat coagulable latex to be used in the process. SOLUTION: A rubber products is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. deproteinized natural rubber latex in terms of rubber solid content with (A) 0.1-20 pts.wt. heat-sensitizer and (B) 0.1-10 pts.wt. anode coagulant at a weight ratio (A/B) of 0.5-10, and dipping a preheated mold in the resulting heat-sensitive coagulable latex to form a rubber membrane by allowing the gel to deposit on the surface of the mold.
