摘要： PURPOSE:To provide rolls with which the generation of defect in shape is prevented even by roll cross rolling, a method for manufacturing the rolls, a cold rolling method and cold rolling mill using the rolls. CONSTITUTION:These rolls are the rolls having patterns 4, 5, 6 which are constituted of fine projecting and recessing parts 3 and different in the axial direction of the rolls 1, 2, and such rolls are manufactured with a laser beam. Cross rolling is executed by using these rolls as upper and lower rolls, the edge wave and center buckle of a rolled stock are detected and the crossed axes angle is controlled so that the detected value is made zero. In this way, when cross rolling is executed with these rolls, the edge drop of the rolled stock is reduced and the generation of edge wave and center buckle is prevented, so the cold rolled steel sheet excellent in a cross-sectional shape and planar shape is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:This method for cold rolling the metallic material is shown as follows: (1) Roll cross rolling is executed by providing rolls so that angles alpha, beta which, in a plane parallel to the rolling plane, the axial directions of upper and lower work rolls 1, 2 respectively form with the direction perpendicular to the rolling direction are alphabetanot equal to 0 and alpha-betanot equal to 0. (2) In (1), the glossiness difference between the upper and lower faces of the metallic sheet 3 is measured after roll cross rolling and rolling is executed while adjusting alpha and beta so that the difference is decreased. (3) Roll cross rolling is performed while controlling the sum of alpha, beta in (1) or (2) so as to be constant. In this way, the metallic sheet 3 is rolled at high efficiency and without generating glossiness difference between the upper and lower surfaces even by cold roll ing using a tandem mill.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely improve glossiness without vanishing the glossiness of a metallic sheet to be rolled in the constitution of a tandem rolling mill line with which the surface gloss of the metallic sheet is improved when the metallic sheet is cold rolled. CONSTITUTION:In order to cold roll the metallic sheet 3, rolling stands composed of four rolls which consist of a pair of upper and lower work rolls 1, 1 and a pair of upper and lower back-up rolls 2, 2 are arranged in five stages in the direction of the rolling line and, in the rolling mill of at least the final stand of these rolling stands, the axial centers of the work rolls 1, 1 are mutually crossly provided in a plane parallel to the surface of the rolled sheet. In the case of this embodiment, the upper and lower work rolls are mutually crossed at not only the final stand but all the stands. When the rolling mill stand in at least the final stage of the tandem rolling mill line is constituted of a cross mill, the glossiness on the surface of the metallic sheet that is imparted with this rolling mill in the final stage is maintained without vanishing.
