摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a roll unit easily changed and recycled and having good wear resistance. CONSTITUTION: A roll unit 1 is constructed in such a manner that a disk roll 10 formed by using Al alloy as a basic material and having a plurality of ceramic balls 12 on an outer peripheral part is attached to a pipe 5. The roll unit 1 is formed by fitting the disk roll 10 in the pipe 5 and the taken out disk roll 10 is soluble, reused and proper for recycling since the basic material is Al alloy. The correct rotation of the roll unit 1 is maintained because of the spiking action of the ceramic balls on the outer peripheral part and since this has good wear resistance, time until its changing is lengthened, reducing the frequency of its changing work. Further, its weight is reduced and a work load during its changing is reduced.

The roll unit 1 is formed by fitting the disk roll 10 in the pipe 5 and the taken out disk roll 10 is soluble, reused and proper for recycling because the basic material is Al alloy. Since the hard layer 12 in the outer peripheral part has good wear resistance, time until its changing is lengthened, reducing the frequency of its changing work. Also, since light Al alloy is employed, the weight of the roll unit 1 is reduced and a work load during changing is reduced.

CONSTITUTION:A low speed rotary shaft 3, rotatably supported to a bearing, arranges a displacement meter 1 in a manner crossing at a right angle with a surface of said rotary shaft further with a predetermined distance apart. A signal from the displacement meter 1 is while fetched through a converter 5 for converting the displacement quantity of the shaft into voltage, amplifier 6 having a voltage booster and zero shift function and a filter 7 to an arithmetic unit 8, here the maximum amplitude value in a preset sampling time is calculated and shown by an indicator 9. Accordingly, damage and deterioration can be clearly diagnosed about the bearing for a low speed of 100rpm or less.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve monitoring capacity by measuring the rolling load and driving torque of a rolling mill and the oscillation of a driving system, then subjecting the respective measured values to satistical processing and deciding the wear of universal joints for driving work rolls. CONSTITUTION:A multiplexer 10 to collect various kinds of data on the rolling mill 1 is provided. An A/D converter 11, a memory device 12, an arithmetic unit 13, an analyzer 15, etc., are successively disposed. The data sampled at various timing are inputted via the A/D converter 11 to the memory device 12 and the arithmetic unit 13 and are stored in the form of various analysis variables in a data memory device 14. A main component analysis is then carried out with the selected variables by the analyzer 15 and the variables are subjected to the statistical processing to decide the wear of the universal joints 8 for driving the work rolls 7. Since the deterioration of the equipment is exactly decided from various sets of the information generated by the rolling mill 1, the monitoring capacity for the rolling mill 1 is improved.
