摘要： PURPOSE: To eastablish a ladle maintaining method, by which oxide can be removed and the maintenance can be executed to the low temp. ladle without shortening the service life of refractory in the ladle. CONSTITUTION: The stuck material 66 of slag, metal, etc., stuck to the surrounding of a pouring nozzle 65 in the ladle 50 is melted and removed with a high temp. gas burner 30 generating the high temp. flame by receiving the supplying of gas, oxygen and the air. By this method, since the high temp. gas burner is adopted, the stuck material can be melted with the heat and the production of FeO is not accompanied, and damaging degree to the refractory is small, and since the combustion is continued even in case the atmosphere is low temp., the low temp. ladle can be maintained.

摘要： PURPOSE: To quickly remote a ladle cover from the front surface of a ladle by fitting a side drawing mechanism side-drawing a restraining metallic tool restrained to the ladle cover in the same direction as the axial line of the ladle and an elevating mechanism for elevating the restraining metallic tool on a travelling carriage. CONSTITUTION: The travelling carriage 61 is travelled and faced to the ladle 1. The side-drawing mechanism 63 is worked and a horizontal slider 63a is advanced with a side-drawing cylinder 63a. The restraining metallic tool 62 is ascended with an elevating cylinder 65b and engaged with a receiving pin 34 of the ladle cover 30. The pushing rod 67b of a stopper opening mechanism 67 is advanced. The horizontal slider 63a is retreated to separate the ladle cover 30 from the ladle 1, and the travelling carriage 61 is shifted to remove the ladle cover 30 from the opening front surface of the ladle 1. Since the ladle cover 30 is only horizontally drawn out from the ladle 1, the stroke of the elevating cylinder 65b can be small. Further, since the ladle cover 30 can quickly be removed from the opening front surface of the ladle 1, the stroke of the side drawing cylinder 63b can be small and also, the travelling carriage 61 can be miniaturized.

摘要： PURPOSE: To melt and remove the oxide and to secure the service life of a refractory by inserting a high temp. gas burner into a ladle and executing precession. CONSTITUTION: So sufficiently long high temp. gas burner 30 as to reach the bottom of the ladle 50 is inserted into the ladle 50. Ignition is executed to the burner 30 and the precession is executed to the burner 30 by driving burner swinging mechanism. The tip of the burner 20 is swung and the circular movement is executed to melt the stuck material of metal, slag, etc., around a pouring nozzle of the ladle 50. Even if the inner part of the ladle is low temp., since the ignition is executed by supplying fuel, this operation can be performed in no problem. Further, the oxide which is not expected to oxidizing reaction, can be melted. Then, since the production of FeO is not accompanied, the service life of the refractory is not shortened. Since the procession is executed to the burner 30 even if the flame of the burner 30 is small, the surrounding of the pouring nozzle can uniformly be heated.
