摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for expanding the diameter of a room temperature shrinkable tube, in which the diameter of the room temperature shrinkable tube is uniformly expanded and its inside is not damaged and burden of an operator is reduced and working properties are good. SOLUTION: Guide parts 1 formed on the tip sides of the opposed pipes 2a.2b are press-fitted in both end parts of the room temperature shrinkable tube 9 and the diameter thereof is expanded larger than the outer diameter of a core. The diameter of the middle part of the tube 9 is expanded larger than the outer diameter of the core by sending air thereinto by an air supplying mechanism and the core is inserted into the inside of the tube 9 having expanded diameter. A pair of diameter expanding jigs 21A, 21B equipped with taper parts 21a are respectively provided in the insides of the respective pipes 2a.2b to previously expand the diameter so as to easily press-fit a guide part 1 in both ends of the room temperature shrinkable tube 9. In the case of inserting the core into the room temperature shrinkable tube 9 having the expanded diameter, insertion of the core is performed in such a state that a core supporting member is fitted so as to hold the shape of the core and to be easily inserted.

The mechanism 3 has grips 41 of the elements 8, sliders 42 for advancing and retracting the grips 41 and slide holders 43 for supporting the sliders 42.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the insertion workability of a cable into a connecting member by applying insulating powder onto the internal periphery of a rubber molded portion. SOLUTION: Though a rubber molded portion 3 is mainly composed of insulating rubber, it has an electric field relaxation layer 6 composed of high-dielectric constant rubber on the internal peripheral surface in its intermediate part. A portion where this relaxation layer 6 is and portions adjoining its both end parts are formed thick, and portions other than those are formed thin. Besides, those formed between the umbrella 5A and the root part of a metal terminal in the rubber molded part are ribs stretching in the axial direction. These ribs are formed on all sides on the periphery of the rubber molded part. On the internal peripheral surface of this rubber molded part, insulating powder 8 is applied. Talc is used as powder 8, and it is applied to approximately the whole surface of the internal peripheral surface of the rubber molded part. By using insulating powder like this, it becomes possible to reduce friction and to enhance the insertion workability of a cable.

A plurality of protrusions 7 extending in the axial direction are formed at the outer periphery of the rubber mold part 3. The protrusion 7 is formed between the root part of the metal terminal at the rubber molded part 3 an the metal terminal side end part of the thickness part. Even if a part where the protrusion 7 is provided is gripped when a cable is inserted, the influence of the gripping force to the interface between the cable and the rubber molded part 3 is very much relaxed, thus easily inserting the cable even if strong insertion force is not used.

A high-voltage cable from the ground, introduced into the steel pipe utility pole 11 through a bent pipe 14 for guiding a high-voltage cable embedded into foundation 13 is connected to the cable connection terminal of a prescribed branch connector within the high-voltage branch box 21, and a high-voltage cable or the like extending toward a transformer 16 is connected to the cable connection terminal of a predetermined branch connector. Also, a low-voltage cable extending from the transformer 16 is partially connected to a low-voltage branch box 17, and other part is guided to the ground through the inside of the steel pipe utility pole 11 and a bent pipe 15, for guiding a low-voltage cable.

摘要： PURPOSE:To branch a service drop cable smoothly and connect the cable smoothly by a method wherein the one half of the upper part of a pole on an arm metal fitting attaching side is used as a branching unit and the other half is used as an apparatus mount unit and the upper part of both halves is used as a transformer attaching unit and those three parts are unified. CONSTITUTION:An arm metal fitting 2 is attached to an arm metal fitting holder 21 on the upper part of a pole 1 and, further, a branching unit 3 is provided. An apparatus mounting unit 4 is provided on the side of a pole l opposite to the branching unit 3 so as to be one-piece with the pole 1. A transformer attaching unit 5 is provided on the uppermost part of the pole 1. A high voltage main line 6 is supported by the uppermost part of the arm metal fitting 2. The high voltage primary line 10 of the high voltage main line 6 is housed in the arm metal fitting 2 and its end is connected to the branching unit 3. A low voltage main line 7 and a remote control transmission line 8 are supported by the lower part of the arm metal fitting 2. The low voltage main line 7 is connected to the low voltage branching connector 12 with an uninterrupted function and the remote control transmission line 8 is connected to the branching unit 3 through a connection line 8a. With this constitution, the compact construction can be achieved, the workabilty and maintenanceability can be improved and the reliability of the insulation protection can be realized.
