摘要： An ablation and visualization device (10) includes a shaft (12), at least one ablation element (18) coupled to the distal end (14) of the shaft, and a scope (28) coupled to the shaft proximate the distal end. The scope may be a fiber optic endoscope, an infrared sensor, or an ultrasound sensor, and may be coupled to an output device to display imagery collected by the scope. The scope includes at least one aperture (30), which may be movable. An optical element (39), such as a lens or filter, may be positioned over the aperture. The scope may be positioned laterally relative to the ablation elements or in a plane substantially parallel to and spaced apart from the ablation elements. The scope may be positioned with the aperture positioned distally or proximally relative to the ablation elements. The scope may be slidably or rotatably coupled to the shaft.

摘要： A tissue ablation device includes an elongate body having a proximal end and a distal end, an array of ablation elements located at the distal end, and a connector configured to releasably engage the tissue ablation device with at least one medical device. The body is preferably flexible, and may form a wand-type device. The connector may be a magnetic element that magnetically engages the tissue ablation device with the medical device or a hook, for example a plastic hook, that extends outwardly from the array of ablation elements to hook the tissue ablation device to the medical device. The connector may be removably coupled to the ablation elements. The medical device may also be a tissue ablation device, and the connector may engage the two devices such that their respective ablation elements are substantially aligned to form a substantially continuous lesion.

The kit also includes a torque transfer device (60) having a handle (64) and a shaft (62) fixedly coupled thereto. The shaft may be inserted into the lumen and the at least one receptacle such that, when the user imparts torque to the handle, the shaft transfers the torque to the introducer through the receptacle. The proximal end (68) of the introducer may include a connector (46) that to receive the handle of the torque transfer device or an ablation device. Sizing indicators may be included on the elongated body, preferably near the distal end.
