摘要： A video signal which has been subjected to a non-linear processing (Ϝ correction) is subjected to a three-dimensional correction for a signal level according to a horizontal direction position and vertical direction position of a pixel on a display screen of an image display block and a signal level of the pixel data by using a three-dimensional correction value. Thus, a fine Ϝ correction can be conducted, so that horizontal-vertical area information (grating block) can be arranged in an optimal positional relationship according to the resolution of the screen.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonlinear processor capable of supporting a difference in a nonlinear characteristic according to a type or individual difference of a display device. SOLUTION: A three-dimensional correction on a signal level is made to an image signal which is subjected to a nonlinear process (γcorrection), in correspondence to a horizontal and vertical position of a pixel on a display screen of an image display part and the signal level of the pixel data by a three-dimensional correction value. Thus, a precise γ correction can be made, and besides a level boundary value on the signal level in the three-dimensional correction can be variably set. By doing so, the three-dimensional correction with optimum correction precision is possible with respect to a nonlinear characteristic of various display devices and each display device.
