SOLUTION: Two kinds of key lockers stored with content key information and copyright management information of respective pieces of the content data are prepared. One thereof is recorded at a lead-in which is a recording position of high secrecy and the other is recorded in a program region in such a manner that the data can be reproduced even by an ordinary drive not dealing with the novel disk although the secrecy is lower. The copyright management information and content key of the key locker recorded in the lead-in enhance additive values by increasing the number of the contents that can be reproduced and relieving the limitation of the copyright as compared with the content key and management information of the key locker of the program region. As a result, the decryption can be performed and the protection of the copyright can be surely provided even by the existing reproducing device which does not deal with the encrypted content data.
