    • A flowmeter comprises a chamber having a centerline (15), an inlet nozzle (22) directed along the centreline for the fluid whose flow is to be measured, a splitter (23) located on the centreline and having an apex (24) facing the nozzle, each side of the chamber on each side of a median plane including the centreline being divided into a feedback channel (28) and an outlet channel (29, 14) with an apex (53) therebetween, the feedback channel (28) extending from the apex (24) of the splitter to a location beside the mouth of the nozzle. In order to improve uniformity and sensitivity, particularly at flows corresponding to low Reynolds numbers, the distance a from the mouth of the nozzle to the splitter (23) is made greater than the distance c from the mouth of the nozzle to the apex (53) between the feedback channel and the outlet channel.
