    • The invention relates to a method for producing a cage (1) of a rolling bearing. For the method according to the invention, a first punching surface (8), a second punching surface (9), and an embossing surface (12, 13) of a punch arrangement (3) and a support surface (19) of a die arrangement (4) are disposed adjacent to the cage (1) such that the embossing surface (12, 13) and the support surface (19) are disposed between the first punching surface (8) and the second punching surface (9) relative to the circumferential direction of the cage (1). A first cutout (20) is punched out of the cage (1) by a forward stroke motion of the first punching surface (8). A second cutout (21) is punched out of the cage (1) at a lateral offset to the first cutout (20) by a forward stroke motion of the second punching surface (9), and a web (22) is thereby formed between the first cutout (20) and the second cutout (21). The embossing surface (12, 13) is embossed on the web (22) and material is thereby deformed by a forward stroke motion of the embossing surface (12, 13) coupled to the forward stroke motion of the first punching surface (8) and/or the second punching surface (9).
