摘要： Disclosed herein is a system and method for synchronizing broadcast content with supplementary information. The supplementary information synchronization system of the present invention detects synchronization information in which a time offset between broadcast content, provided by a Content Provider (CP), and broadcast content, received over a broadcasting network, is considered, by comparing the broadcast content, received from over the broadcasting network, and synchronization information, transmitted from a supplementary information generating apparatus, and extracts screen information corresponding to the time at which an integrated terminal requested supplementary information based on the Present Time Stamp (Start) (PTS) information of broadcast content, received in response to a request for the supplementary information from the integrated terminal and corresponding to the time at which the supplementary information was requested, and the synchronization information in which the time offset is considered.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method for providing a supplementary information service related to broadcast content. The system includes a Presentation Time Stamp (PTS) information creating server and a supplementary information service providing server. The PTS information creating server receives broadcast content and programming information from a broadcasting system, identifies information about a start time of specific broadcast content, extracts PTS information corresponding to the start time of the corresponding broadcast content, and transmits the extracted PTS information. The supplementary information service providing server stores supplementary information corresponding to the broadcast content, receives the information about the start time of the broadcast content and the PTS information corresponding to the start time information from the PTS information creating server, associates a specific scene of the broadcast content with corresponding supplementary information, and provides the associated specific scene and corresponding supplementary information through a communication infrastructure at a request of a user terminal.

摘要： An equalizer and an equalizing method are provided to converge tap coefficient at high speed according to the profile of a received signal. The equalizer includes an input signal position ver¬ ification block verifying a position change between a signal currently received by the tuner and a previously received signal; and a coefficient position adjustment block determining a position of a tap coefficient outputted from the tap coefficient update block by referring to the position change of the currently received signal verified by the input signal position verification block. The convergence speed of tap coefficients can be increased, and the performances and speed of the receiving system can be improved.
